We have enjoyed many films that we never knew who the brains behind them were. In this case, the writer, director, and one of the producers of the successful movie Nomadland, is Chloé Zhao.

Chloé Zhao, born in China on March 31, 1982, is a producer and story teller. She yielded awards for movies such as Nomadland and Songs My Brothers Taught Me. She became the first woman of color to win the top honor at the Directors Guild Of America’s virtual 73rd Annual Awards, and she has also won 21 different awards for one of her recent movies, Nomadland.
